They make some really pretty drinks!
It’s on the nicer side so bring a date!
The Raconteur Wine Bar in Pleasantville is a great spot for a hang with that special someone or just to hang with some rich friends. Yeah, it’s not cheap. Beers are $10 or so and cocktails $15+. Hummus is $16. It’s good for sure, but it’s also ground beans and bread. So keep that in mind.
But what a great spot to take a first date. If I wasn’t with my wife, um I mean married in general, I would definitely want to impress by coming here. It’s a really lovely, cozy spot…
The bar menu has a long list of cocktails, beer and whiskey options while the food menu has a lot of foo-foo small plates for sharing.
The Hummus with pita was very good and the pita was warm and soft. We had the Burratta as well and it too was quite good.
And so here is the damage for two drinks and two small plates. Yeah, $70 before tip. A bit much for me, unless it’s date night!
