Great sports atmosphere!

Game On!

Game Day Grille

The Game Day Grille in Yorktown Heights is a great combination of a sports bar and a local pub. Obviously, we’re all sports-themed here, but it’s a local joint for sure.  On my visit, there were a bunch of people at one end of the bar watching The Masters and the Yankees game. Friendly folk indeed and focused on their screens.  And there are plenty of screens for watching everything.

On my visit, I was just looking for a snack but then saw the wing combo option on the menu and overdid it.  Ah well.  I’ll be good tomorrow.

Platter of both Boneless and bone wings

The wings were VERY tasty.  I had the dry-rub Louisiana Cajun and the boneless Mango Habanero.  The Mango Habanero were excellent.  These are homemade chicken pieces dipped in batter. Second best boneless wings I’ve had while. It’s nice not getting the same old frozen boneless wings that every place has.  Yonkers Yard House still has the best boneless though

I had a Voodoo Ranger and Labbatts to go with the wings.  Nice little selection of taps and bottles for a sports bar.

Love me a nice long list of wing flavors.  Good stuff.

Oh and weekly specials…

Great place to watch a game.  I think I might head up for a Rangers game during the playoffs and check out their Rangers crowd.  Foley’s is another great option if you’re looking for a place to watch the Rangers game. Rangers crowd for sure.

Game Day Grille has a small parking lot it shares with other businesses in the little strip mall so parking can be a little challenging at times. But if you’re looking to catch a game, get here.

Ahh, note my receipt.  They charge a fee for credit cards like many places now but use your debit card and avoid the fees.
